Marketing Manager

Summary of Position: The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, managing and directing all Marketing activities within business for KSA and Bahrain territories. This position is functionally reporting to the Head of Marketing - Near and Middle East Zone, and operationally reporting to the senior leadership team in KSA. It is also important to work closely with the business units and functions within (regionally and globally) to drive organic growth and inorganic initiatives across the company in the designated territory.

Major Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Market Research, Business Intelligence & Strategic Planning:

  •  Support the development of market-entry / market-growth strategies (e.g. macro-economic, micro-economic and geopolitical research, deep-dives across relevant industries, baseline and competitive assessments, recommendations formulation, financial modeling) and clearly communicate the findings and implications

  •  Design and execute impactful market research studies; formulate conclusions and actionable recommendations for the business

  •  Analyze and prioritize market needs, industry trends, and customer requests, identify quickly patterns among problems and issues and link them to business strategies.

  •  Support the development of the Long Range Strategic Plan for the respective region reflecting the knowledge of the market and players relevant to each product outline.

  •  Design and drive the end-to-end implementation of special strategic projects in collaboration with the different business units and senior leadership in KSA.

  •  Drive meaningful VOC to evaluate the market requirements.

Pricing and Commercial Support:

  •  Develop the pricing strategies that are aligned to the business metrics.

  •  Manage all local customer price lists with full adherence to commercial policy.

  •  Monitor the success of the new price implementation by tracking the actual realized price, identifying the Price leakage, conducting a post-mortem meeting with sales leaders to celebrate wins, successes and learn from failures, and challenges from the price changes.

  •  Coordinate all promotional pricing requests in adherence to company guideline.

  •  Track Competitor Pricing movements and make a price proposal to ensure a competitive product position.

Offer Management:

  •  In conjunction with Group marketing and the sales department, adjust the Zone offering to the scope in question; product mix, pricing and the launch   dates for new products; implement marketing actions (direct marketing, sales promotions) to promote the offering to ensure the successful product     launches by preparing the required sales tools in advance.

  •  Supervise and conduct marketing studies, on a product or a specific product line, which may particularly include market analysis, target definition,   product positioning and the analysis of sales by product family and by market type.

  •  Provide forecast for new offers to be launched.


Qualifications & Experience:

  •  An undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (e.g. economics, finance, math, engineering, etc…) is required; a Master’s degree will be beneficial.
  •  Fluent in spoken and written English, Excellent business writing, editing, and presentation skills (US and UK graduates are preferred)
  •  Advanced Excel Skills
  •  5-10 years of business or strategic marketing experience preferably in a mixed (B2B & B2C) environment.
  •  Experience in conducting thorough market research and synthesizing meaningful insights
  •  Experience in assessing and refining the portfolio of products & solutions (incl. new product design & launch, pricing)
